  1. ^ is a fun little utility to convert any text file into Elmer
  2. Fudd talk.  (Elmer Fudd is a character in the U.S. cartoon ‚ÄúBugs
  3. Bunny.‚Äù)  To convert, select ‚ÄúOpen...‚Äù from the File menu and
  4. select a text file.  (Or, from the Finder, you can drop any
  5. number of text files onto the ^ icon.)

  7. The options are fairly self-explanatory.  You may choose
  8. whether you want ^ to show a progress bar during large
  9. files, giving you a chance to cancel the operation (or run in the
  10. background).  You may choose to have ^ automatically add
  11. ‚Äú.fudd‚Äù to filenames and use that as the destination file.  And
  12. you can choose whether ^ gives you a save dialog box for
  13. the destination file.

  15. WARNING: if you deselect the save dialog and the ‚Äú.fudd‚Äù
  16. suffix, the original file will be overwritten with ^ talk!
